Janet is a Partner in the firm and Head of Family Law. Admitted as a solicitor in 1983 Janet has a wealth of experience in all areas of Family Law and is an Advanced Member of the Family Law Panel. Janet is also a trained counsellor and for a number of years worked with adults and counselled young people through a national organization whilst still practicing full time as a solicitor.

Janet has a keen interest in the arts, particularly the visual arts and loves films! She is also keen on architechture and history and manages to combine this well with a love of travel. Janet enjoys spending time in the company of her friends and aims simply to enjoy her precious leisure time as much as possible! She is an active member of the Wigan Law Society committee and was President in 2009-2010.
